Canadian Hemlock

Canadian Hemlock (Tsuga canadensis) is one of the most graceful and versatile native evergreens in the eastern landscape — a soft, feathery conifer with flat, dark green needles that catch the light and move gently in the breeze. Unlike the stiff formality of many conifers, Canadian Hemlock has a natural elegance: its branches droop slightly at the tips, giving it a relaxed, layered appearance that works beautifully as a specimen, a naturalistic screen, or a formal sheared hedge.

It's one of the few conifers that genuinely thrives in shade, making it invaluable for woodland edges, north-facing slopes, and areas where other evergreens struggle. Available in multiple sizes from 3 GAL containers up to large 8' balled-and-burlapped specimens for immediate impact.
