Viburnum × rhytidophylloides 'Alleghany' — Alleghany is a tough, adaptable viburnum prized for its bold, deeply textured dark green foliage that holds well into winter in most climates. In spring it produces large, flat-topped clusters of creamy white flowers followed by red berries that ripen to black — providing multi-season interest from bloom through fall. Its dense, upright habit makes it an excellent choice for screening, hedging, and naturalized plantings.
