Prunus dulcis 'Butte' — Butte is a reliable, high-yielding almond variety prized for its soft-shell nuts with excellent flavor and its adaptability to a range of growing conditions. It blooms mid-season with beautiful pale pink flowers, making it as ornamental as it is productive. A partially self-fertile variety that produces even better crops when planted near a pollinator such as Nonpareil or Monterey.
